Titchfield Dental Health Care Plans
Benefits of being a member of the Titchfield Dental Health Plan - it's quick and easy to join and you are entitled to receive some benefits immediately
The standard benefits to which you are entitled include:
- Treatment planning for your future dental needs.
- Bitewing x-rays and clinical photographs.
- Up-to-date advice, information and health education.
- Same-day emergency appointments.
- 10% discount on many treatments.
- Ability to take advantage of periodic promotional offers available only to plan members, e.g. special offers on whitening, dental products, etc.
- Free dental skills development appointments.
- Free antibiotics dispensed at the practice.
- Two dental health reviews (DHR) so that your dentist may carry out an oral cancer screening examination, check your jaw joint, assess the health of your teeth and the status of any restorations (fillings and crowns) and examine the health of your gums.
- Two units of perio therapy (UPT) which includes
scaling, periodontal care and polishing. Also
included are dental skills development sessions
(DSD), as required, to give advice on preventive
techniques for gum disease and tooth decay.
As long as you continue to be a member of our practice, you will be eligible for such care appointments. All that you need to do is make six consecutive monthly payments and, each time you do this, you will be entitled to attend the practice for your regular DHR and UPT You may be able to take advantage of this immediately.
- 20% discount on x-rays.
- 10% discount on any fillings
- 10% discount on most other dental work (excluding hygienist).
- 10% discount on oral hygiene products purchased at the surgery.
- 5% discount on implants.
- Worldwide Dental Trauma Insurance to protect against the cost of unforeseen accidental damage including mplants and crowns.
- Emergency Callout Insurance should you need a dentist in an emergency. anywhere in the world.
- Redundancy protection for your monthly payments for up to 12 months.
Patients who join the Basic Membership are
entitled to the same standard benefits as the Maintenance
Membership, but are entitled to:
• Two DHR's only, subject to six consecutive monthly
payments.
Note, UPT appointments will be an additional cost.
Patients who join the Annual Membership are entitled to the same standard benefits as the Maintenance Membership, but are entitled to:
- One DHR, subject to the required payments.
- One UPT, subject to the required payments.
For those patients who would like more regular and extended access to hygienist care, we offer our Preventive Membership. You are entitled to all of the benefits from the Maintenance Membership, but you are entitled to:

Four UPT's, subject to receipt of three consecutive monthly payments.
With all our membership options an initial administration fee of £9.50 will be collected with your first payment only. Please note, discounts only apply to treatments carried out at the practice. The membership price includes a premium of £0.51 per month for the Worldwide Dental Trauma and Emergency Callout Insurance. Prices correct at time of going to print.
Membership Plans for Children
Members aged between1 and 4 years can benefit from the following:
· Two or more DHR's, subject to the required payments.
· Treatment planning for your child's future dental needs.
· Advice to parents on care of their child's teeth as often as they wish.
· Assessment of emergencies and dental pain with any temporary treatment
· required, carried out at the dental practice during
normal surgery hours.
· Referrals when necessary.
Discounts
· 20% discount on any required dental treatment.
Insurance
· Worldwide Dental Trauma Insurance to protect against the
cost of unforeseen accidental damage.
· Emergency Call out Insurance, should your child need a dentist
in an emergency, anywhere in the world.
· Redundancy protection to maintain monthly payments for the
child for up to 12 months.
Members aged between 5 and 13 years receive the same benefits as the Titchfield Teddies and members are also offered dental skills development (DSD) appointments, at no extra cost. As soon as you join, your child can benefit from the following:
· A DSD to provide oral health education and practise
prevention techniques to reduce decay and gum
disease.
· A polish at every dental health review.
· Orthodontic screening and referral if necessary.
· Bitewing x-rays if necessary.
Members aged between 14 and 17 years receive the same benefits as the Titchfield Tigers, but additionally gum scoring and simple scaling if necessary, at each DHR.
Famliles receive 10% discount on plan fees (up to two adults plus one or more children).
